What Happens When I’m Gone - Business Preparedness Series!
Register today for the February 2026 4-week Business Preparedness Series where entrepreneurs connect to learn how to plan and organize their business details for their spouse or next-of-kin in the case of an unfortunate event. The purpose is to emphasize the importance of preparedness and give entrepreneurs a space to plan and organize.
Plus, you will be provided with a customized, guided planner to bring all your business information, contact details, operations, accounts, etc. together in one, centralized place.
Each week, you will work through different modules to gain an understanding about how to organize your business details and documents, as well as how to communicate their use to your next-of-kin.
Educational guidance will be provided along the way to ensure your assets and documents are protected now and for the future.
Section topics and details that we will be focusing on include:
1 | Business registration document (Master Business License or Corporation documents)
2 | CRA account details (specifically assigning representatives to your account(s))
3 | HST/GST number, if applicable
4 | Contact details or business cards for any business professionals you work with (ex. accountant, lawyer, financial planner, etc.).
5 | Business banking information (including trustees and beneficiaries)
6 | Benefits and insurance details (including trustees and beneficiaries)
7 | Wills for entrepreneurs (including executors for personal and business)
Note: These personal details will not be shared during the sessions. The intention is to keep them private but organized.

👉 Register now and take the first step toward protecting your business—and the people behind it.
I know thinking about a future where you aren’t here to care for and protect your family is awkward and uncomfortable.
But that’s why I’m doing this and that’s why you need to do this too!
Because death, illness, accidents, disease, injuries, and age happen – whether we are planned for them or not.
What You’ll Walk Away With …
By the end of this 4-week series, you will have:
A centralized, organized record of your critical business information—so nothing important is scattered, forgotten, or locked inside your head.
Clear documentation of your business registration, CRA accounts, tax numbers, banking, insurance, and professional contacts, all in one place.
A customized preparedness planner that your spouse or next-of-kin can actually understand and use.
Confidence knowing your business can be managed, paused, or transitioned if you are suddenly unavailable.
Peace of mind that your family won’t be left scrambling, guessing, or chasing information during an already difficult time.
A practical understanding of how to communicate key business information to the people who would need it most—without oversharing or losing privacy.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about preparedness.
What This Program Is (and Is Not)
This program IS:
A guided, structured process to organize your business details
Educational and practical (not theoretical)
Designed specifically for Canadian entrepreneurs
Focused on clarity, continuity, and protection
Private—your personal details are never shared during sessions
This program is NOT:
Legal or financial advice
A place to share sensitive information publicly
A passive course you watch “someday”
About fear-based decision making
You’ll be supported, guided, and encouraged—but you remain in control of what you document and how.
Why This Matters (Especially If You’re Running a Business)
When a business owner becomes suddenly unavailable, the impact isn’t just emotional—it’s operational.
Without preparation:
Accounts get frozen
Bills go unpaid
Employees are left unpaid and without guidance
CRA deadlines are missed
Access to banking and systems is delayed
Spouses and families are left stressed and uncertain
Preparedness doesn’t eliminate difficulty—but it prevents chaos.
This series exists so your family isn’t left asking:
“Where do we even start?”
Why Now?
Here’s the truth …
Most business owners don’t plan for absence, incapacity or death because:
It feels uncomfortable
It doesn’t feel urgent
There’s always something more pressing
Until there isn’t.
Illness, accidents, and unexpected events don’t come with advance notice—and your business doesn’t pause just because life does.
Registering now means:
You’re acting before something forces your hand
You’re making decisions calmly—not in crisis
You’re protecting the people you care about while you can
Preparedness is an act of responsibility—not fear.
